successfully hosted seminar on reshaping entrepreneurship approach

Kathmandu : Global College International (GCI) in collaboration with Association of youth Organization Nepal and International Labor Organization’s South Asia Leadership in Entrepreneurship project successfully hosted a seminar on Reshaping Entrepreneurship Approach in a Digitalizing World . The event was held at the GCI campus in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The seminar aimed to explore the opportunities, challenges, and future trends in AI-enabled entrepreneurship. It brought together experts from academia and entrepreneurs to share their insights and experiences.

The seminar started with an introduction and opening remarks by Dr. Subash Shrestha, the Principal of Global College International. The moderator, Mr. Pradip Parajuli, from the GCI Alumni, delivered the welcome address and introduced the panelists.

The panelists included Mr. Praveen Regmi, Chief Executive Officer of IME Pay; Prof. Dr. Suresh Manandhar, Honorary Professor in Artificial Intelligence at Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology and CEO/Chief Scientist of wiseyak; Mr. Kiran Regmi, Talent Acquisition Head at Leapfrog; and Ms. Surakshya Adhikari, Co-Founder and COO of Thulo.com. The panel discussion covered several key topics, including the role of digital payment systems in reshaping entrepreneurship, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning in entrepreneurship, talent acquisition strategies for digital startups, and building an e-commerce business in the digital age. The moderator posed questions to the panelists, and the discussion was followed by an interactive session with the audience. The seminar ended with closing remarks and a summary of the discussion by the moderator. The panelists also shared their final thoughts and recommendations. The event concluded with a networking session. The formal closing program included speeches from several key speakers, including Dr. Subash Shrestha, the Principal of Global College International; Ms. Shova Sapkota, Treasurer of AYON; Dr. Thomas Kring, CTA of the SALE Project; Mr. Prakash Sharma, NPC of the SALE Project; Mr. Daniel J Schuman, Representative from USDoS; and Dr. Devraj Paneru, Director of GCI. The student representative from Encore, the GCI Entrepreneurship Club, hosted the program. Overall, the seminar was a great success, and the participants gained valuable insights into AI-enabled entrepreneurship. The event provided a platform for experts to share their knowledge and experiences and for entrepreneurs to learn about the latest trends and strategies in digitalizing entrepreneurship.
