Hult prize is the world’s largest student competition for social good, in which teams from universities from all over the world which will create social startups that will tackle the world’s most pressing issue. With a US$1,000,000 global startup prize as its anchor activity, the Hult Prize has brought influencial and useful, impactful programs, events and trainings to over a million students globally, creating a pathway for youth everywhere to take action to build a better world. Hult Prize , also called as Nobel prize for the students will also be held in Nepal and Purbanchal University has been selected to host the On-campus program for the creation of new social businesses.

Top 33 teams were selected to the Pre-event by clearing the one minute elevator pitch round. All the 32 teams competed at the pre-event for the top 6 spots on the GRAND FINALE/ MAIN EVENT of hult prize Purbanchal University Kathmandu. The pre event of the on-campus was held virtually on 3rd,4th and 5th December. Top 6 teams were selected by the both national and international judges. Selected teams will have mini accelerator workshop,where the teams will sharpen their knowledge on business pitching and many more. The final on-campus event of Purbanchal university Kathmandu will be held on 12th of December Saturday at Himalayan Whitehouse college, where the finalists will be competing to secure their spot on the regionals, happening around the world.
