Hult prize is the world’s largest student competition for social good, in which teams from universities from all over the world which will create social startups that will tackle the world’s most pressing issue. With a US$1,000,000 global startup prize as its anchor activity, the Hult Prize has brought influencial and useful, impactful programs, events and trainings to over a million students globally, creating a pathway for youth everywhere to take action to build a better world and to build a better world. Hult Prize , also called as Nobel prize for the students will also be held in Nepal and Purbanchal University has been selected to host the On-campus program for the creation of new social businesses.

Washim Ansari, has been selected as a campus director of the event. Director Ansari said that the students from all over the world will take part in the competition with their creative ideas and showcase their ability to think outside the box which is essential in today’s world. The prize is partnership between Hult International Business School, and the United Nations and is an annual long competition that will run until December 2020 this year. Every year a pressing social challenge is selected by Bill Clinton and becomes the theme for the respective year.

The theme for this year return’s to the root of the human experience- food, challenging everyone to transform food from a necessity for survival into the vehicle of change and prosperity for humanity. “Food for Good”. Director Ansari said that the preparation by the students of Purbanchal University has been progressing rapidly and the organizing committee is ready to train, inspire and aspire the students to be the change. He also added although we are in this very unavoidable situation we are trying our best to reach to all the colleges affiliated to Purbanchal University all over Nepal and engage as much students as possible.

Hult prize is an excellent opportunity to represent yourself and your country globally with your innovative ideas as the winner of the intra campus event will automatically advance to compete in regional finals happening around the world. One winning team from each host city will than move onto the summer business incubator where the students are trained, mentored and will receive advice, learn planning will be advance them to create their own startup. The final round would be held where the winning team will receive USD One Million Dollars.
